Since when I was a child I have been fascinated by the boats of Lake Iseo to the point that in a few years I decided to leave my family business in the rubber industry to devote myself completely to my passion. In the early Sixties I designed and built my fist creation, a small, silent and ecological pedal boat. While working in the rubber industry, in my spare time I continued to design and build pedal boats for visitors to Lake Iseo and Lake Garda. Until 1989 when I decided to sell the rubber industry company to the multinational Parker Seals to devote myself completely to the design and construction of boats.

I founded the Cantieri di Sarnico, where I designed and produced the models Maxim 40, 45, 55 and Montecarlo 32 achieving in 1996 the absolute victory in the historic offshore competition Venezia-Montecarlo with the pilot Gianfranco Rossi and the navigator Prince Albert of Monaco. In 1997 I decided to sell Cantieri di Sarnico Spa to enter the historic Riva Boatyard, the best boatyard in the world for quality and prestige, where I was plant manager and I coordinated the construction of numerous boats such as Dolce Vita 70, Splendida 72 , Cantata 85 and Acquariva 32.

In 2005 I started the production as a subcontractor of turnkey boats with the Dalla Pietà Yachts brand such as DP 50 HT, DP 58 HT, DP 59 FLY, DP 70 FLY and DP 72 HT. Later I worked as a technical contributor to Zhejiang Millenium Marine, a chinese brand new owner of the DP Yachts.  Since 2005 I have been also a lecturer at I.E.D. Istituto Europeo Design – Interior Yacht Design based in Rome. I’ve always loved boats as much as nature and ecology and I started working on a project aimed at combining quality and sustainability in water mobility. In 2009 I filed a patent for a hybrid boat that was accepted by the Italian Ministry of Economic Development on 25 November 2011 with patent number 0000270182. I started an effective collaboration with six important Italian brands, Bimotor, FPT (Fiat Powertrain Technologies), Transfluid, Brunswick Marine, Huracan, Archimede Energia , a collaboration that continues today in order to perfect and optimize the product. These were different times, few spoke of hybrid boats, much less electric. Only pioneers. When I started working on this front I had to face enormous difficulties, while the cars were produced without problems, having to sail in the water the boats had to win a strong resistance and were penalized.

Nowadays all the obstacles have been finally overcome and our models, both hybrid and electric, have been presented at some international boat shows such as the Cannes Festival de la Plaisance, the Green Mobility Show in Venice, the Lode Na Boat Show Vode of Prague, the Navigami Expo in Milan, the Electric&Hybrid Marine Word in Amsterdam, the Locarno Boat Show and the Eco Mobility Flash Mob of Portofino, an event organized on the occasion of the inauguration of the protected area of Portofino, Santa Margherita and Rapallo where american Tesla was also present. Several of our hybrid and electric models already sail on the Danube, on the Rhine, on the Seine, on the European lakes in Amsterdam and are also used as “tenders” for fluvial ships to bring cruisers and visitors where navigation with normal petrol and diesel engines is prohibited.
